Olivia Rodrigo announces the release of Sour
After the enormous success of her two singles “Drivers Licences” and “Deja Vu,” Olivia Rodrigo announced the release of her debut album “Sour.” The record will drop on 21 May (Friday) and will feature 11 tracks.
Except for two smash hits, “Sour” will also include nine new songs – “Brutal,” “Traitor,” “1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back,” “Good 4 U,” “Enough for You,” “Happier,” “Jealousy, Jealousy,” “Favorite Crime” and “Hope Ur Ok.”
“I want [Sour] to be super versatile. My dream is to have it be an intersection between mainstream pop, folk music, and alternative rock. I love the songwriting and the lyricism and the melodies of folk music. I love the tonality of alt-rock. Obviously, I'm obsessed with pop and pop artists. So I'm going to try and take all of my sort of influences... and make something that I like,” says Olivia about her upcoming album.
The album will be available for purchase and streaming on all digital platforms from 21 May.

Christina Aguilera covers Health magazine
Christina Aguilera has been gracing the May cover of HEALTH magazine. As part of her coverage, the singer talks about confidence, her insecurities, turning 40 and living in the public eye.
On a new album: “I’m months away from anything being announced. I’m simultaneously working on my English record and the follow-up to my debut Spanish album—about 20 years overdue. I’m a perfectionist and want to give everything my best—especially because of the soul-searching I’ve done over the past year and the new perspective I have. I am reinspired and have reconnected with myself. I’ve fallen in love with music all over again, which is a really big thing to say, having spent my entire career in music.”
On turning 40: “You start asking yourself: Why am I holding back in certain areas of my life? Who am I really living my life for? And with age, you figure out that life is too short to waste time thinking about what other people think about you. I’ve realized I am making memories for myself and that I shouldn’t worry about what other people think.”
