Miley Cyrus Plastic Hearts tops Billboard Rock Albums chart
Miley Cyrus has made it big one more time! Her recent album, “Plastic Hearts,” has just debuted at no. 1 at the Billboard Rock Albums chart. It has also peaked at no. 2 at the Billboard Hot 200.
“Plastic Hearts” comes with 60,000 album units and 20,000 units are pure album sales.
“It’s official. #PlasticHearts is the #1 rock record in the country. My mind is blown and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank YOU to every creative collaborator involved on this project! If one person was missing I would not be writing this message,” posted Miley on Instagram.
The standard edition of the album features 12 tracks, while the digital edition comes with three extra songs – “Edge of Midnight,” “Zombie” and “Heart of Glass.” The album was promoted by two singles – “Midnight Sky” and “Prisoner” (with Dua Lipa).
Miley is the fourth solo woman to lead the Billboard Rock Albums chart in 2020 after Fiona Apple, Hayley Williams and Alanis Morissette.
Priyanka Chopra is excited for Unfinished
Priyanka Chopra has recently taken to her official Instagram to share her excitement for “Unfinished” with fans. The actress was not, however, holding the first copy of the book, but only its jacket.
“That feeling when I’m holding my book in my hands for the first time... just kidding, I only received the jacket so I wrapped it around a book to see what it would really feel like. I can’t wait to get the first printed copy next month,” posted Priyanka on Instagram.
“Unfinished” is Priyanka’s revealing memoir which portrays her road to self-discovery. The book presents her childhood in India, teenage years in the United States and a subsequent return to India where – against all odds – she won national and international beauty competitions.
“Unfinished” will be released on 19 January 2021.
The Kardashians cancel the annual Christmas party
The Kardashians have just cancelled their annual Christmas party for the first time since 1978. The main reason for the cancellation is the on-going pandemic of coronavirus and the increase in the number of infections.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978. I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must,” confirmed Khloe on Twitter.
Not only have the Christmas festivities been cancelled this year, but also a traditional Christmas photo.
